Hi, Nicole. I have come across your website a few times on my quest in searching for designers. I was disappointed in the lack of finding great designers trying to showcase their work. I have emailed designers and visited portfolios and have no luck in return communication. Where are all the designers with creative minds trying to sell their collections. I’m perplexed that this generation isn’t seeking the branding.
If you are aware of places I can promote my website in my quest to find great designers, please let me know.

    With Love,

      Hi Janice,

Are you buying wholesale from designers or only taking their work on consignment? A lot of designers don’t do consignment with boutiques that aren’t in their home town (where they could make a visit if they needed to).

Also, are you an e-commerce store or bricks and mortar? Do you have anything to show them in terms of a completed website or pictures of your store.

While designers are always excited to learn that someone is interested in their work, the smart ones know that it’s important to make sure the retailer is a good fit for their brand.

So it really boils down to how you’re presenting your brand to them when you express an interest in their work.

      Hope that helps.
      Nicole
