As we all know, a major part of success is networking. This is of course true in every industry but there sees to be a special emphasis when it comes to fashion. Who you know is half the battle. But that’s not all that comes out of networking. Having a community of like minded individuals to chat with, use as a sounding board, offer assistance, and get to know, is absolutely essential to creating a well-received business.
Not too long ago, we told you about Open Source Fashion, a New York based meetup group that gets together every 4-6 weeks for some industry pow-wow. Their first event was a great success and they are now following on its heels with their second:
